“Basically, we could handle the current flow by taking over the operation of this plant. If any problems arise and we cannot take over the operation very quickly, then there is also help from the Ministry of Environment to turn to the nearest (regional waste sorting centers – BNS) and direct part of the waste there for processing,” the head of VAATC told journalists on Thursday after a meeting with the Minister of Environment Ieva Andriulaityte.
