In Vilnius, some traffic lights will be turned off for two days: drivers can expect traffic restrictions

On July 14, from 9 AM to 3 PM, the traffic lights at the pedestrian crossing marked number 87 on Žirmūnų Street will be out of order. JUDU indicated that traffic controllers will ensure safe pedestrian movement at this location.

At the same time, the traffic lights at the intersection of Kaunas and Švitrigailos streets will also be out of order. Traffic here will be regulated by police officers.

On July 15, from 9 AM to 3 PM, the traffic light regulation at the intersection of Kareivių Street 11 will be turned off.

As a result, left turns will be temporarily prohibited at this location:

  • from Kareivių St. into the area at Kareivių St. 11;
  • from the area at Kareivių St. 11 onto Kareivių St. towards Verkių St.

JUDU informs that access to the area at Kareivių St. 11 will only be possible by turning right.

“When planning your trips, consider possible traffic changes, be attentive, and if possible, choose alternative routes,” JUDU stated.
