The 37-year-old boy’s father was detained after the incident near Chloraka on Sunday evening. The child’s family had arrived for summer vacation just a day before the accident. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the boy was taken to Paphos hospital.

The police received the report of the fall on Sunday at about 18:40. Later, the minor died in the hospital from the injuries sustained. The family has another five-year-old daughter who was also on vacation with them, reports “The Sun”.
