On an area of 186 hectares, nearly 3 kilometers of quays, a breakwater, a 17-meter deep port basin, and a 1.3-kilometer long container terminal quay will be constructed. The terminal will be able to handle up to 2 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) per year and accommodate the largest container ships capable of entering the Baltic Sea.
