A man was arrested after allegedly trying to kiss a flight attendant on the neck during a flight to Spain. Police boarded a Ryanair plane from London Stansted Airport when it landed in Mallorca and later detained the offending Briton after the flight attendant confirmed he wanted to press charges, according to Mirror.

It is reported that the 30-year-old man was heavily intoxicated when he allegedly started causing trouble on the plane. The pilot contacted Palma airport flight controllers by radio just before arrival and asked them to contact the police following the suspected sexual assault. Initially refusing to file an official complaint, the flight attendant later changed his mind and agreed to give a statement to the police.
The tourist, whose identity was established, initially avoided arrest because the flight attendant indicated he did not want to press charges. He had already disembarked and passed through passport control. However, the Briton was arrested when he tried to board his return flight and was taken to court. He was released on bail while the investigation into the June 29 incident continues.
