Some men find it difficult to control arousal during intimacy and reach climax faster than they would like.

According to experts, these nine positions can help better manage the situation and prolong spicy games in bed.
1. Modified “cowgirl” position
In this position, the man lies on his back, and the partner sits on top of him, straddling his hips. One of her legs is on one side of the man’s body, the other on the other side.
The partner can lean slightly forward or lean back – this makes it easier to control the depth and pace of movements, writes “Steady Freddy”.
This position is considered one of the simpler ones because the man can remain relaxed, and the partner mainly controls the movements.
2. Reverse “cowgirl” position
Essentially, this is a variation of the previous position, but the partner sits on the man facing away from him.
The man lies on his back while the partner straddles him, holding her legs on both sides of his hips. She can lean back slightly and regulate the pace of movements herself.

Changing the body position also changes the angle of movements, so this position may be less stimulating for some men.
3. “Spooning”
This position is easy to imagine: both partners lie on their sides, one behind the other, facing the same direction.
The man lies behind the partner, close to her back. The partner can slightly lift the upper leg and then lower it onto the man’s body.
Since both are lying down, the body does not need to maintain a complex position, making it easier to relax and control the pace.
4. Lying face to face
Here both partners lie on their sides facing each other.
The partner places the upper leg on the man’s hips. Both bodies are close, allowing eye contact and easy control of the movement pace.
This position focuses mainly on slow, controlled movements rather than an intense pace.

5. “Cross”
This position is named after how the partners’ bodies are arranged.
The man lies on his side, and the partner lies on her back, perpendicular to him. Her legs are placed on the man’s pelvic area, so from above their bodies resemble a cross or the letter X.
In this position, intense movements can be avoided, and a slower pace can be chosen.

6. Seated lotus
This position requires a bit more closeness.
The man sits upright with crossed legs, and the partner sits on his lap facing him. She wraps her legs around his torso or hips, and her arms can embrace his back.
This is a very close position that allows maintaining eye contact. Movements here resemble slow hip motions rather than fast back-and-forth movements.
7. Standing with partner’s leg raised
Both partners stand facing each other. The partner raises one leg and places it on the man’s hip, while the other leg remains on the floor.
This position allows choosing a slower pace and easily stopping if arousal becomes too intense.
Also, penetration is usually not as deep when standing, so it may be easier for the man to control sensations.
8. “Missionary” position with slow hip movements
This is a variation of the classic “missionary” position.
The partner lies on her back, and the man is above her, resting between her legs. Instead of fast back-and-forth movements, he slowly moves his hips in circular motions.
A small pillow can be placed under the partner’s hips to elevate them slightly.
The essence of this position is less speed and more control.

9. Lowered “doggy” position
This position starts from the usual “doggy” posture: the partner kneels and leans forward, resting on her hands or elbows, and the man is behind her.
Then the partner gradually lowers herself and lies on her stomach. The man also lies on her back, so both end up in an almost horizontal position.
Although penetration can be deeper in this position, the article’s authors suggest focusing more on slow movements rather than an intense pace.
