Relationship experts point out that some behavioral changes can be signals worth paying attention to. Of course, no single sign proves infidelity on its own, but a combination of several signs can raise questions, writes “YourTango”.
1. He suddenly becomes very jealous
Some people are naturally more jealous, but sudden and unusual suspicion from a partner can be a sign that something has changed in the relationship.
According to relationship specialists, sometimes an unfaithful person starts suspecting their partner because they project their own behavior onto the other person. If he knows he might cross boundaries himself, he may start thinking that you would behave the same way.
2. He becomes overly secretive
At the beginning of a relationship, a certain mystery can be attractive – after all, it’s interesting to get to know a new person gradually. However, over time, partners usually become more open with each other.

If a person constantly avoids talking about their past, work, friends, or family, and their answers become vague, it may be a sign that they are hiding part of their life.
Sometimes such behavior can indicate emotional withdrawal, and sometimes a conscious attempt to conceal information.
3. He flirts with almost every woman he meets
Most likely, many have met a man who knows how to start a conversation with every woman around. Somewhere he has acquaintances, elsewhere he unexpectedly meets an “old friend,” and his attention constantly shifts to other women.
Such behavior does not necessarily mean infidelity, but it is worth considering whether you are comfortable with such a constant need to flirt and seek attention from others.

4. He starts trying too hard
Sometimes a person who feels guilty about their behavior begins to compensate with special attention. Unexpected gifts, frequent declarations of love, or a sudden burst of romance may seem pleasant, but in some cases, it can be an attempt to hide guilt.
It is important to emphasize – every flower or nice gesture is not proof of infidelity. However, if after strange behavior there is suddenly an unusually sweet display of attention, it is worth paying attention to the overall situation.
5. He spends an inexplicably large amount of time at work
One of the most common infidelity stereotypes is a person who is constantly “busy at work” but is actually hiding an affair.
Work can become a convenient excuse to come home late, go on business trips, or spend weekends apart from the partner.

Of course, long working hours do not necessarily mean that a person is unfaithful. But if work starts to take up all the time and there is less and less attention left for the relationship, it is worth having an open conversation.
6. Your friends start noticing strange things
Sometimes close people notice changes earlier than the person in the relationship. Although it can be hard to hear criticism about a loved one, friends’ observations can sometimes help see the situation more objectively.
If friends start asking: “Don’t you find it strange that he is always working?” or “What’s going on between him and his ex-girlfriend?”, it is worth at least hearing their arguments.
Relationships with a person hiding infidelity can be very painful, but an open conversation and attention to warning signs can help notice problems earlier.
