The Nepalese army reported that the man was pulled alive from a tunnel 225 meters deep, and his health condition is now being assessed. Photos show him being evacuated by helicopter, with a military medic attending to him during the flight.

According to officials, about 900 workers are considered missing at 12 hydroelectric projects across Nepal, and approximately 500 are believed to be trapped in various tunnels.
