The Xpeng L03 marks a new stage in the company’s development strategy “In Europe, For Europe.” It is the manufacturer’s first model to premiere simultaneously in as many as 65 global markets. Now Lithuanian drivers also have the opportunity to see one of the most anticipated cars of this year live.

The design of the Xpeng L03 was created by former Ferrari exterior design head JuanMa Lopez. The car’s appearance reveals Xpeng’s design philosophy “Vital Flow” – it features wide body lines, SUV coupe proportions, a sporty silhouette, frameless doors, and excellent aerodynamics.

At the Xpeng showroom on Constitution Avenue in the capital on Tuesday, the entire Xpeng model range was also presented in one place for the first time. Alongside the new L03 stood the very luxurious and spacious X9 minivan, the market-recognized SUV models G6 and G9, and the sedan P7+.

“Although the model currently exhibited in Vilnius is intended for exhibitions, L03 orders are already being accepted in Lithuania, which is becoming an important part of Xpeng’s expansion. The manufacturer’s models are gaining more attention due to their design, premium feel, and technical characteristics – more than 60,000 drivers in Europe have already purchased them. We notice that Lithuanian drivers are increasingly interested in the advanced technologies integrated into the cars, and Xpeng is undoubtedly a leader in this field,” says Evelina Avina, head of the Xpeng Vilnius representative office.

The new L03 and other manufacturer models can be viewed at the Xpeng Vilnius showroom in the Quadrum business center until September 11. Later, the exhibition model will continue its tour to other European countries.

Dynamic and efficient

The car is designed to meet global five-star safety standards.

Attention to detail typical of the premium class is also reflected inside the car. The interior features a 15.6-inch central screen, a head-up display (W-HUD) in front of the driver, ambient lighting, smart climate control, and comfortable seats. When configuring specific models, seats with ventilation, heating, and massage functions can be selected.

Designed for everyday use, the car has 37 storage compartments, a spacious trunk, and can tow up to 1,500 kg.

Drivers are offered both a fully electric model (BEV) and a Power X (REEV) version with extended range technology (range extender).

The new Xpeng range extension technology is an additional gasoline generator. Unlike conventional hybrid cars, the gasoline engine here functions as a generator: the energy it produces charges the battery, and the car is powered by an electric motor. This technology allows for much longer distances with fewer stops to recharge the battery while maintaining the driving dynamics typical of electric vehicles.

The Xpeng L03 stands out for its excellent dynamic properties and efficiency: the most powerful versions with all-wheel drive (“AWD Performance” and “AWD Performance Ultra”) accelerate to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The “AWD Performance” can travel up to 440 km on a single charge (according to WLTP). The most efficient “RWD Long Range version” can travel up to 520 km on a single charge (according to WLTP). The car’s battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in about 20 minutes.

Artificial intelligence and smart driving

Xpeng positions itself not only as a car manufacturer but as a technology company whose core is physical artificial intelligence (AI). The L03 has become a symbol of this vision. According to Xpeng developers, artificial intelligence technologies will play an increasingly important role in mobility in the future. The company aims to make advanced technologies accessible to a wider range of users.

The model was created using the company’s own advanced technology platform. The car is equipped with the new Xpeng smart cabin system XOS 6 with an artificial intelligence voice assistant. It can understand natural human language, recognize conversation context, and control various car functions.

Xpeng has also announced a partnership with Google Maps. The company will become the first automaker in the Asia-Pacific region to integrate Google Maps Auto SDK technology into its cars. This will enable the creation of a navigation system tailored for Xpeng cars that operates directly on the car’s screen without additional apps or phone use.
