At about 2:01 PM, colleagues from the Klaipėda County Police Headquarters contacted the firefighters.
The police officers asked to come to Sandėlių Street, located in the industrial part of the port city.
A search in the water was needed there.
Officers waited for the firefighters by a pond of about 6 ares.
It is shallow – the depth reaches about one meter.
According to the police, it was decided to check if a person being sought could be in this location.
After searching the entire pond and its territory, no person was found.
On Thursday, officers of the Klaipėda City Police Commissariat announced that they were looking for a minor who had disappeared the day before.

In the evening, it was reported that the search ended happily – the teenager was found.
