In Lithuania on Thursday morning, compared to Wednesday, the average prices of gasoline and diesel decreased by 0.73% and 0.54% respectively, but the average price of LPG increased by 0.66 percent. Information about fuel prices was provided to the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) on August 6 by 76 fuel trading companies operating 762 gas stations.
Companies selling fuel in Lithuania provide LEA with information about the prices of fuels sold at their gas stations every working day by 10 a.m. The submitted prices are published on the website ena.lt. Prices at gas stations change several times a day.
Data on fuel prices received from gas stations by 10 a.m. on August 6 show that the lowest diesel price was at the “Alauša” network gas station in Santaikos village, Alytus district municipality – 1.797 Eur/l.
The highest diesel price was at the gas station operated by Lašų Agricultural Company in Vytėnai village, Rokiškis district municipality – 2.170 Eur/l.
Diesel prices at gas stations on Thursday morning ranged from 1.797 Eur/l to 2.170 Eur/l, with the average diesel price reaching 2.016 Eur/l, or 0.54% less than on Wednesday (August 5), when it was 2.027 Eur/l.
The lowest gasoline price on Thursday morning was at four “Saurida” gas stations – 1.650 Eur/l.
The highest gasoline price was at two UAB “Narjanta” gas stations (Pumpučių village, Anykščiai district municipality and Aleksandrija village, Kupiškis district municipality) – 1.899 Eur/l.
Gasoline prices at gas stations on Thursday morning ranged from 1.650 Eur/l to 1.899 Eur/l, with the average gasoline price amounting to 1.765 Eur/l, or 0.73% less than on Wednesday (August 5), when it was 1.778 Eur/l.
The lowest LPG price on Thursday morning was at four UAB “Madalva” gas stations and UAB “Bonsa” gas station in Tauragė district municipality (Taurai) – 0.660 Eur/l.
The highest LPG price was at UAB “Tumasa” gas station (Mažeikiai district municipality, Židikai) – 0.940 Eur/l.
LPG prices at gas stations on Thursday morning ranged from 0.660 Eur/l to 0.940 Eur/l, with the average LPG price reaching 0.766 Eur/l, or 0.66% more than on Wednesday (August 5), when it was 0.761 Eur/l.
The wholesale gasoline price in Lithuania on August 5 was 1.53 Eur/l, the wholesale diesel price – 1.83 Eur/l (on August 4, the wholesale gasoline price was 1.55 Eur/l, the wholesale diesel price – 1.86 Eur/l).
The Brent crude oil price on the market on August 5 was 79.45 USD/bbl (August 4 – 79.36 USD/bbl).
