We remind you that the Lithuanians will start their camp next Monday and will play as many as four matches in the new format during the combined September-October window.
On September 24, there will be an away match against Liechtenstein, on September 27 the Lithuanians will meet the Azerbaijan team at home, on September 30 a friendly test awaits at the Darius and Girėnas stadium against Andorra’s footballers, and the window will end on October 4 with an away match against the Azerbaijan team.
There are also some changes in this national team window list. Adrian Lickūnas, who has already debuted in the main team of the Italian Serie B club, received his first call-up. The Lithuanian has been developing in Italy for several years and this year has already had a chance in the first team.
Also, after longer or shorter breaks, several familiar faces return to the national team – Vykintas Slivka, who returned to Lithuania to play, Artūras Dolžnikovas, who changed clubs in the Czech Republic, Faustus Steponavičius, who is having a successful season in the TOPLYGA, and Manfredas Ruzgis, who has again tasted scoring in Albania.
Also returning to the squad after a long break is Kipras Kažukolovas, who has recovered from injury and returned to the ranks, as well as Edvinas Gertmonas and Pijus Širvys, who missed the Baltic Cup.
