The first break in the match occurred at 1:1 in the second set, and when the players returned, the Lithuanian immediately won his opponent’s serve and came very close to victory.
However, after a few games, the Brit managed to restore balance and take the lead, but Vilius’s deficit in the second set remains minimal – with his serve in the 10th game, he can even the score.
The 21-year-old from Šiauliai has not yet lost a set in this year’s US Open qualifying – he has won all five matches played.
