The new ES stands out with elegant design, quiet driving, and the quality characteristic of the Lexus brand. The car can already be tested at the Lexus dealership in Vilnius, and in a few weeks, it will also be available at the Kaunas showroom.
The model is created according to Lexus’s design concept “Clean Tech x Elegance,” combining the advantages of electric drive with even greater comfort and intuitive technologies. Lexus introduced the new ES to the world at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show – an important step in the brand’s electrification strategy.
“For many years, the ES has been one of the most valued Lexus luxury sedans, and now we present customers with a model of a completely new level. The electric ES combines silence, comfort, and modern electric dynamics, making it perfect for both daily driving and longer trips,” said Raigo Kaseorg, head of the Lexus division at Toyota Baltic AS.
Two electric versions
The fully electric Lexus ES is offered in two versions: front-wheel drive ES 350e and all-wheel drive ES 500e DIRECT4. The ES 350e has a power output of 224 hp (165 kW), equipped with a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds. The more powerful all-wheel drive ES 500e develops 343 hp (252 kW), accelerates to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds, and ensures even more dynamic driving.
Both versions use the latest Lexus electrification technologies and the new K platform. The models feature new “eAxle” drive units, compact modules combining power electronics and transmission – this helps optimize both cabin space and trunk capacity. The high-capacity battery is mounted under the floor, ensuring a lower center of gravity, better stability, and smoother driving.

The new Lexus ES can travel up to 581 km (WLTP) on a single charge, and using fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80% in about 30 minutes.
The ES 500e version features the intelligent Lexus electric all-wheel-drive system DIRECT4, which continuously adjusts torque distribution between the front and rear wheels based on driving conditions. Torque can be distributed in ratios from 100:0 to 0:100 – improving stability, handling, and overall driving feel.
Dimension-wise, the new ES has stepped into a higher luxury segment: the overall length now reaches 5,140 mm, and the wheelbase has increased to 2,950 mm, providing more legroom for passengers both in front and rear. Special attention has been paid to quietness, seat comfort, and the overall quality feel of the cabin – more features typically found in luxury limousines have been added. Optional equipment includes rear seats with massage function, ottoman-style leg rest, and a new minimalist “Hidden Tech” design concept.
In design, Lexus has moved towards a cleaner and more modern aesthetic: a sleek silhouette, minimalist details, and a new headlight design emphasizing the electric character of the model. The interior is created based on the Japanese hospitality philosophy “omotenashi,” making it quiet, spacious, and technologically intuitive.
The new Lexus ES debuts next-generation technologies. In front of the driver is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and the center console features a 14-inch LexusConnect multimedia system. The LexusConnect touchscreen supports navigation, intuitive audio and climate control, as well as Android Auto® and Apple CarPlay® functions.
The next-generation voice assistant allows the driver to control various functions: change the trip destination, check remaining range, or adjust cabin temperature. In fully electric models, the system additionally displays charging information and mileage data and allows scheduling charging times.
Moreover, the model is equipped with the latest generation Lexus Safety System+ driver assistance package.
New hybrid ES 300h coming this fall
An important new addition to the Lexus ES model range is the new hybrid variant ES 300h, which will join this fall. The sixth-generation Lexus hybrid system combines a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor, ensuring greater efficiency, smoother driving, and all-wheel drive capability.
The new fully electric Lexus ES has already arrived in Lithuania – you can get acquainted with the model and register for a test drive at Lexus dealerships across the country. On the occasion of the launch, the all-wheel-drive fully electric ES 500e is offered at the price of the front-wheel-drive version – from 65,700 euros.
