On Tuesday night, a drone that entered Lithuanian airspace was destroyed in the Kaišiadorys district, near the village of Pratkūnai, about 5–6 kilometers from the Kruonis Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Plant (PSHP). According to Asta Sungailienė, head of the company “Ignitis gamyba” that operates the plant, the incident did not affect the plant’s operations.

She stated that upon receiving a yellow air threat signal at the plant, employee vigilance was increased and, if necessary, they were instructed to move to premises adapted for work and meeting shelter requirements.

“The yellow signal means increased vigilance and reminds employees about safety procedures and the nearest shelters. When the red signal is on, employees must go to designated shelters. Such procedures are established at all facilities managed by ‘Ignitis gamyba’,” she told 15min.
