“Memories returned of July 12, 2017, when I was kidnapped and ransom was demanded. A bag was put over my head, I was driven around the Kaunas district for 16 hours. They threatened to gouge my eyes out if I took the bag off my head. And I was released at six in the morning in the forest, only after I promised to pay 300,000 euros for peace on the same day,” T.
