The insolvency case against the company that faced financial difficulties and failed to settle payments on time was filed last spring, and on August 9 this year, the Klaipėda District Court’s decision on its liquidation became final.

“There is no evidence that solvency can be restored, no settlement agreement has been made. It is concluded that there is a basis to declare the company bankrupt and liquidated due to bankruptcy,” the court ruled.
According to the ruling, the amount of unpaid debts of “Pro industrija” exceeds 775 thousand euros.
There is one creditor in the first line – the bank “Artea,” to which the company owes 666.1 thousand euros. In 2015, the port city company received a loan of 844 thousand euros from this bank and, according to the contract, was supposed to repay it by mid-2022, but failed to fulfill these obligations, and the bank unilaterally terminated the contract after this period.
After the liquidation of “Pro industrija,” the company’s insolvency administrator asked the court to declare the company’s end and allow its deregistration without changing the list of creditors.

“The insolvency administrator does not request to clarify the list of creditors and their financial claims.
The list of financial claims of “Pro industrija” creditors remains unchanged,” states the Klaipėda District Court ruling that became final on August 18, announcing the company’s end.
Often in such cases, companies are forced to write off unpaid debts as losses, although legal possibilities to try to recover the money still exist.
The company, established in 2013, submitted its last activity report to the Register Center for 2023. At that time, its revenue exceeded 595 thousand euros, and net profit was 3.5 thousand euros; in 2022 – respectively 672 thousand and 16 thousand euros.
About 20 people lost their jobs when the company went bankrupt.
