Three individuals have been held criminally liable in total. A 23-year-old man is charged with illegal possession of a very large quantity of drugs and their distribution, a 21-year-old man with drug distribution, and a 22-year-old woman with illegal possession of drugs without the intent to distribute.
The pre-trial investigation began last summer after receiving information about a previously unconvicted 23-year-old Klaipėda resident conducting individual activities who was allegedly involved in drug distribution.
In July 2025, officers detained a previously unconvicted 22-year-old woman in Klaipėda on Sulupė Street. About two grams of cannabis were found on her.
In October, law enforcement officers in the port city detained a 23-year-old man in Klaipėda on Minija Street who had sold cannabis to her. After searching his residence and garage, officers found narcotic (psychotropic) substances, two grinders, four electronic scales, and a vacuum sealing device.
Later, officers detained a previously unconvicted 21-year-old Klaipėda resident on Mokyklos Street. Officers found more than 100 grams of cannabis on this man and at his residence.
The men were placed in custody. Later, preventive measures were imposed on these individuals – a written promise not to leave, confiscation of documents, and an obligation to periodically register with the police.

The criminal case has been transferred to the Klaipėda District Court for trial.
