In one village, the attic of a house was on fire, while in the city a car crashed into a garden shed.
At about 9:42 a.m., a report was received from an unidentified person that a residential house was on fire in the village of Vosbutai, Seredžius eldership, Uosintos street.

When firefighters arrived, the attic of the house was ablaze. Three type B hoses and about 20 cubic meters of water were used to extinguish the fire. Water was supplied from a natural water body about 50 meters away, with a 40-meter main line laid.
The attic and the items inside it burned down during the fire, the wooden roof structures and part of the solar modules installed on the roof were scorched. While extinguishing the fire, water also soaked the first-floor rooms.
The building was insured. A smoke detector installed in the house was triggered. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
