83.1 percent of students who participated in the mathematics PUPP received scores of 4–10. In 2025, 82.2 percent of students achieved such a result. This year, 9 percent of tenth-graders were awarded the highest scores (9–10 points) (in 2025 – 12.1 percent). The average score of the mathematics test is 26.7 points out of 50 possible (in 2025 – 26.9).

“This year, a larger proportion of students received positive mathematics evaluations than last year. Although the average number of points remains similar, it is important that more and more tenth-graders are reaching the basic achievement level. This shows that focused attention on the quality of teaching and learning and a clearer definition of educational content yield results,” says Simonas Šabanovas, head of the National Education Agency.

89.9 percent of students who participated in the Lithuanian language and literature PUPP received scores of 4–10 (in 2025 – 89.2 percent), and 4.4 percent (in 2025 – 4.6 percent) of students received the highest scores (9–10). The average score collected by students is 32.7 points out of 60 possible (in 2025 – 33.3).

99.1 percent of students (in 2025 – 99 percent) received scores of 4–10 in the native language and literature PUPP for national minorities (Belarusian, Polish, Russian, German). 2046 students participated in this test.

PUPP tasks are prepared based only on the teaching/learning content of grades 9–10, not including teaching/learning content not covered in the educational process.

If students failed to achieve a positive result and would like to try again, they have such an opportunity – they can retake the test in a repeat session on June 17–19.

Students, by logging into the Electronic Achievement Verification System where they completed the tasks, will be able to review them and see what answers they provided. The specific achievement verification task will be visible when logged in with the same credentials that were used to complete the task. For example, to see your completed mathematics verification task, you need to enter the login details provided for the mathematics verification. Logging in will be possible on June 5–7.

Today, student result protocols will begin to be provided to schools, and detailed PUPP result reports will be submitted to schools and municipalities in early July.
