Meteorologist Elvyra Latvėnaitė shares the latest weather forecasts on her Facebook page.

“From southern France, through southwestern Europe (where all kinds of weather troubles are being warned about), a small cyclone named Priska is rushing towards Poland. Early in the morning, this cyclone will reach the southern districts of Lithuania, during the day its central part will move across Lithuania bringing rain and heavy downpours, accompanied by strong or very strong winds sweeping almost all of Lithuania, especially affecting the coast again, particularly the Curonian Spit, dividing Lithuania into a cooled western part and a still warming eastern part,” the meteorologist notes.

The meteorologist urges caution on Saturday: “Postpone unnecessary trips, take care of your property, and those preparing to celebrate should assess the weather conditions.”

According to E. Latvėnaitė, on Sunday the cyclone will slowly move north and northeast but will still strengthen, so it will be windy, with brief rain and thunderstorms, and it will be cooler everywhere.
