“Daniel is doing well, he did not suffer any significant injuries,” said the player’s lawyer Danilo Buongiorno, as quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport.
Due to the incident, the footballer lost his driving license for a while.
D. Maldini grew up at Milan, where he played for many years, and later his famous father P. Maldini held one of the management positions.
D. Maldini was loaned to weaker teams, and in 2025 he moved to Atalanta, which also loaned the player – initially to Roma’s Lazio, and recently to Cagliari.
He has played six matches for the Italy men’s national team.
