When creating the new seven-seater “Xpeng X9”, which can already be tested and purchased in Lithuania, the manufacturer specifically thought about this – the functionality of a family car in this model is combined with the latest technologies and comfort usually associated with top-class cars.
To appreciate how important spaciousness and comfort can be in a car, it is not necessary to embark on thousands of kilometers of travel.
It is estimated that parents who drive their children and wait for them after lessons or clubs spend hundreds of hours a year in the car. The vehicle often also serves as a workplace.
“Xpeng X9” takes this everyday life to another level: the car, more than 5.3 meters long, offers a spacious seven-seat interior, high-level comfort, and smart technologies. The space is adapted to everyday family needs, and comfort is ensured by advanced suspension solutions, comfortable seats, and various passenger functions. Smart systems and driving assistance features also contribute to more convenient car use both in the city and on longer trips. It is no coincidence that the manufacturer calls this model a “starship”,” the manufacturers say.
“Xpeng” is known as an innovator of vehicles based on artificial intelligence. Therefore, the X9 is not just a spacious minivan – it is a technological creation where the most advanced solutions are used to make both driving and traveling extremely comfortable.
Space and comfort
“Xpeng X9” can comfortably travel with seven people, and the trunk fits seven standard suitcases. If more space for items is needed, the third row of seats folds electrically with just one button press. This increases the trunk capacity from 721 to 2,554 liters.
The car is equipped with a unique indirect airflow system that heats or cools the interior very gently, avoiding unpleasant direct blowing on passengers.
Comfort is complemented by “zero-gravity” seats, flat floors that allow children to stand, and a built-in refrigerator. The interior features a huge 21-inch entertainment screen for passengers and a smart head-up display (HUD) for the driver, which provides essential information about navigation, driving assistance systems, and the car’s status. Smart parking functions are also available, including car parking control via smartphone and reverse driving assistance.

The new model ensures driving comfort not only with pneumatic suspension but also with a smart road scanning function. The system constantly monitors and analyzes the road surface ahead of the car, so the suspension automatically adapts to upcoming irregularities even before reaching them.
Comfort and maneuverability are also enhanced by the rear-wheel steering system – despite its length, the car’s turning radius is only 5.4 meters.
The X9 is also designed with high safety standards in mind. The model was designed to meet the upcoming 2026 “Euro NCAP” five-star safety requirements.
Economical and efficient
Although the car is exceptionally spacious (5,316 mm long, 1,988 mm wide, and 1,785 mm high), its design is created with great precision. The manufacturer managed to achieve an air resistance coefficient of just 0.236 Cd, which is one of the best results in this car segment.
Using a high-power charging station, the “Xpeng X9” 800 V silicon carbide architecture allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 12 minutes.
The X9 demonstrated this result in the Norwegian Automobile Federation (NAF) winter charging test held in January 2026 – even under challenging winter conditions, the car maintained the 12-minute charging result and took first place among the tested cars.
Despite the considerable size of the car, the X9 uses only about 20 kWh of energy per 100 kilometers (according to WLTP).
