It states that during the day, the Frenchman’s artificial lung ventilation and sedation were gradually reduced, so he woke up from the artificial coma.
- 20-year-old Y. Trepy was airlifted by helicopter to the hospital on the afternoon of August 16 after an incident at a villa in Sardinia.

“The awakened patient has fully regained consciousness: he is alert, cooperative, and currently no obvious neurological disorders are observed,” said Stefania Milia, head of the hospital’s Emergency and Intensive Care Department.
However, Y. Trepy is still in the intensive care unit, where his condition and respiratory function are being closely monitored.

Earlier on Tuesday, a statement said that the footballer no longer has a fever, and his respiratory function has improved compared to the severe condition upon arrival at the hospital.
Last season, he scored one goal in eight Serie A matches. The footballer joined the Cagliari academy in 2022 and began his youth career at Paris’s US Creteil-Lusitanos club.
