Many have heard the phrase: “How could he betray her? She is so beautiful.”

Study: physical intimacy matters to men
Studies published in 2023 show that men are more likely than women to engage in infidelity when they lack the desired physical intimacy in marriage or long-term relationships.
Research also revealed another difference – men tend to react more sensitively to a partner’s sexual infidelity, while women are more hurt by emotional infidelity from their partner.
Psychologists explain that for some men, physical intimacy is closely linked to self-esteem and a sense of masculinity. When this intimacy is lacking, some begin to seek validation elsewhere, although such a decision can have painful consequences for both the partner and the individual.

Ultimately, the decision to be unfaithful is made by the individual. It is they who break trust and cause pain in the relationship, so the responsibility lies with the unfaithful partner, not the unsuspecting spouse or life companion.
