Due to these events, officers are collecting material under the Criminal Code article that provides for liability for false reports about a danger threatening the public or an accident, BNS said, quoting Vilnius County Police representative Julija Samorokovskaja.

“Threatening messages were sent, threatening with an explosion,” she said.
The police were informed about the mined premises of the high-tech company “Teltonika” around 11 o’clock. The capital’s police representative Loreta Kairienė told the news portal “15min” that the company was demanded to pay the specified amount, otherwise the company would allegedly explode at noon.
According to J. Samorokovskaja, officers went to the “Teltonika” office on Saltoniškių Street.
According to the portal “Kas vyksta Kaune,” the police also visited the company’s offices on K. Baršausko and Chemijos streets in Kaunas.
According to J. Samorokovskaja, around 11 o’clock the police also recorded a threatening letter to the emergency medical service and to the office building operating at 25 Lvivo Street.
No explosives were found in the buildings, no real danger arose. “Teltonika” employees were evacuated from the buildings as a precaution.
