Local residents are concerned that abandoned kiosks have recently become a gathering place for children and youth. They can visit freely and vandalize the structures, which have been unused for some time. However, they should not stand in this place for long.
“Legal proceedings have been concluded with a peace agreement. The demolition of the kiosk is planned, but currently a few technical issues are still being resolved. Once these are solved, a smooth and proper demolition process can be ensured,” comments Indrė Naureckaitė, communications specialist at Vilnius City Municipality.

So in the near future, these kiosks should no longer exist. After all, this place was not always abandoned. Once, local residents visited the bar, bicycle repair shop, printing house, and even a pet supplies store that operated here.
