The program’s goal is to encourage owners of apartments and other premises in Kaunas apartment buildings to actively renovate their residential buildings, improve their technical condition and energy efficiency, reduce heat energy consumption and residents’ heating costs. The program also aims to contribute to creating a more aesthetically pleasing living environment and increasing the overall attractiveness of the city of Kaunas.

Under the program, funding is allocated for the implementation of renovation (modernization) construction works of apartment buildings. The municipality will compensate part of the actual investments incurred, deducting the state support provided to the owners of apartments and other premises in the apartment building who have implemented the renovation project.
Applications can be submitted by:
- the administrator of the common use objects of the apartment building, appointed according to Article 4.84 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania;
- the apartment building owners’ association;
- a person authorized by a joint activity agreement of the apartment building owners;
- a person acting under a mandate agreement by decision of the owners of apartments and other premises in the apartment building, providing project implementation administration services.
Completed applications must be submitted to the Customer Service and Information Department’s Personal Service Subdivision of the Kaunas City Municipality Administration (Laisvės al. 96, Kaunas, 2nd workplace) or sent by mail or courier. Documents must be submitted in the manner specified in the call. After the application submission deadline, all timely submitted applications will be registered and their evaluation will begin.
