Large hail is forecasted, locally even very large, strong wind gusts and heavy rain. There is also a warning about the possibility of several strong and longer-lasting tornadoes forming, although it is noted that such ESTOFEX tornado forecasts do not always come true.

On Friday evening, a more dangerous storm scenario was avoided – only two main storm clusters formed: one near Joniškis, the other near Alytus. After the rain, impressive lightning could be observed, some of which even shot out from the storm cloud.
