“Of course, we have provided certain exceptions. These are exceptions related to health and safety, and in cases where a teacher decides that phone use is necessary for the teaching or educational process, such action will be allowed,” added B. Nowacka.

The minister stated that the restrictions will be introduced “at the clear request of teachers,” and noted that similar rules already apply in more than half of Polish schools. According to her, the public strongly supports this measure.
