In the 44th minute, a great counterattack by the Panevėžys team ended with another goal – after a pass from Kwadwo Asamoah, Salomon Kouadio scored.
S. Kouadio was once again in the spotlight at the beginning of the second half, but not for a good reason. The 23-year-old midfielder from Ivory Coast received his first yellow card in the 55th minute, and just 30 seconds later committed another foul and received a second yellow card.
