Information about fuel prices was provided to the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) on August 26 by 72 fuel trading companies operating 711 gas stations.
Companies selling fuel in Lithuania submit information about the prices of fuels sold at their gas stations to LEA every working day by 10 a.m. The submitted prices are published on the website ena.lt. Prices at gas stations change several times a day.
Data on fuel prices received from gas stations by 10 a.m. on August 26 show that the lowest diesel price was at two “Neste” network gas stations in Vilnius – 1.949 Eur/l.
The highest diesel price was at thirty-four “Viada” network gas stations, twelve “Circle K” network gas stations, a “Kenaoil” network gas station in Vilnius district municipality, a “Kriketas” network gas station in Trakai, and a “Degta” network gas station in Elektrėnai district municipality – 2.199 Eur/l.
Diesel prices at gas stations on Wednesday morning ranged from 1.949 Eur/l to 2.199 Eur/l, with the average diesel price being 2.077 Eur/l, or 1.77% less than on Tuesday (August 25), when it was 2.114 Eur/l.
The lowest gasoline price on Wednesday morning was at two “Neste” network gas stations in Vilnius and two “EU Verslas” network gas stations – 1.689 Eur/l.
The highest gasoline price was at eight “Viada” network gas stations and a “Degta” network gas station in Elektrėnai district municipality – 1.929 Eur/l.

Gasoline prices at gas stations on Wednesday morning ranged from 1.689 Eur/l to 1.929 Eur/l, with the average gasoline price being 1.796 Eur/l, or 1.77% less than on Tuesday (August 25), when it was 1.829 Eur/l.
The lowest LPG price on Wednesday morning was at eight “Alauša” network gas stations, a “Degta” network gas station in Elektrėnai district municipality, and a “Velseka” network gas station in Kupiškis – 0.669 Eur/l.
The highest LPG price was at UAB “Tumasa” gas station in Mažeikiai district municipality (Židikiai) – 0.940 Eur/l.
LPG prices at gas stations on Wednesday morning ranged from 0.669 Eur/l to 0.940 Eur/l, with the average LPG price being 0.764 Eur/l, or 0.23% less than on Tuesday (August 25), when it was 0.766 Eur/l.
The wholesale gasoline price in Lithuania on August 25 was 1.65 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 1.91 Eur/l (on August 24, the wholesale gasoline price was 1.67 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 1.97 Eur/l).
The Brent crude oil price on the market on August 25 was 88.58 USD/bbl (on August 24 – 92.17 USD/bbl).
