However, real estate development and investments are only part of the topics we discussed with M. Vanagas. The entrepreneur talked about the journey from his first investments in adolescence to the businesses he manages today, about housing prices and their affordability, excessive regulation in the construction sector and how the resulting rising costs ultimately fall on homebuyers’ shoulders, as well as the similarities between art and business and the Kraštai Manor, which he purchased due to personal sentiments.
M. Vanagas does not hide that his work today is quite different from the beginning of his business – now he devotes more time to strategy, searching for new opportunities, and creativity. Moreover, he entrusts a large part of the work to others.
He admits, however, that although he likes to invest in people, he has heard useful advice that he has to use: “Make decisions slowly, forgive quickly.”

Vanagas said in the 15min article series “From the First Mouth: Interview with a Leader.”
