The team started the race impressively. In the first stage, the team leader, Estonian Rait Ärm, secured a victory, becoming the first overall leader and laying a strong foundation for the entire team’s success. In subsequent stages, “Energus” cyclists demonstrated stable team riding, consistently staying among the race leaders and maintaining high positions until the finish.

„Dookoła Mazowsza“ is one of the most important UCI 2.2 category multi-day races in the region, where strong club and professional teams from various European countries compete annually. Over four stages, the athletes covered 641 kilometers.
All athletes representing the Lithuanian team in Poland contributed to this result – Rait Ärm (Estonian), Mārtiņš Pluto (Latvian), Dovydas Bružas, Aironas Gerdauskas, Ignas Kertenis (Lithuanians), and Pavlo Antonenko (Ukrainian). Each of them contributed to the overall result through their work – from working at the front of the peloton and defending leader positions to self-sacrificing assistance to teammates.

Three years ago, we started building the team practically from scratch, and today we can not only compete but also win against experienced professional Continental teams. This shows how rapidly we are developing. I am proud that our athletes believe in each other, work as one team, and demonstrate increasingly mature riding in every race.

The victory in the first stage gave us confidence, but most importantly, the entire team’s focus allowed us to maintain a high level until the last kilometer. I am convinced that this is just another step towards even greater victories in the future,” says Ignatas Konovalovas, head of the “Energus” cycling team.
This achievement complements the team’s impressive season, during which “Energus” secured victories and podium finishes in international competitions, and rose among the strongest teams in the global UCI Continental team rankings. Despite having one of the smallest budgets at this level, the team consistently demonstrates that a long-term vision, professional work, and talent development allow them to compete with significantly larger European clubs.
Today, “Energus” is the only professional UCI Continental cycling team in Lithuania. In addition to international sporting results, the organization actively invests in the future of cycling – developing young talents, organizing children’s training sessions and competitions, building a cycling community, and promoting an active lifestyle in Lithuania. The team’s victories in international competitions not only strengthen Lithuania’s position in cycling but also promote Lithuania’s name in Europe.
