As reported by the Italian sports daily “La Gazzetta dello Sport,” the city of Milan has officially submitted an application to host the prestigious tournament in the new “Unipol Dome” arena, located in the Santa Giulia district.

If the Euroleague chooses Milan, the Final Four would return to Italy’s fashion capital after a 16-year break. The last time this event was held in the city was in 2014, when the championship title was won by Tel Aviv’s “Maccabi.”
If current plans do not change, the hosts of the Final Four for the next four years would be almost certain. In 2027 and 2029, the tournament is expected to take place in Abu Dhabi, while Valencia with the new “Roig Arena” is competing for the right to host the 2028 Final Four.

In that case, Milan would become the main candidate to host the climax of the 2030 Euroleague season.
