After the match, Žalgiris head coach Andrius Skerla said that the draw was more satisfying for the opponents.
“We knew that no one had won in Marijampolė this season yet, so we expected a tough match. I have no complaints about the players – both teams defended quite well and created few chances. However, to compete for the championship title, we need to win such matches. We had one or two good moments that we could have executed better, so the biggest regret is that we did not take advantage of them,” said A. Skerla.
