As stated in the press release, the new project is planned just a few hundred meters from this historical environment – about a five-minute walk to the center of Kretinga, about a twenty-minute walk or a few minutes by car to the Tiškevičiai Counts’ Park and Botanical Garden. This is a rare combination: living in the heart of the city, yet being surrounded daily by history and greenery, which elsewhere has long since disappeared under asphalt.
In the future, small commercial premises are also planned on the first floors of the quarter – the kind that residents often most lack in everyday life.
A cozy café for morning coffee, a small bakery or pastry shop, perhaps a beauty or service space – all that allows daily pleasures to be found right here, under the windows of your home. For now, these ideas are still taking shape, but the direction is clear: the quarter should become not only a residential place but also a small, lively community space.

“It must be honestly said: ‘Mėguvos slėnis’ will probably not become the cheapest option in Kretinga. The price of the most impressive, spacious apartments with the best view of the valley may reach up to 4000–4500 euros per square meter – a figure that this city simply has not had to compare with so far, because such a level of supply has not yet existed here,” announces the investors’ company “Osteca.”
As stated in the press release, “Mėguvos slėnis” does not aim to be large. On the contrary – its concept is based on the idea that smallness can become a value. It is a boutique-type quarter: a small number of apartments where modern architecture blends with the historical character of the city, and the subtly landscaped inner courtyard becomes a private oasis for residents.
