According to police data, the incident occurred on July 21 at approximately 9:27 PM in Antalgė village, on road A6 Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis.

A man born in 1985, driving a “Ford Galaxy” without a driver’s license, collided with a “Nissan Note” traveling in the same direction. Due to the impact, the latter then hit another “Ford S-Max” traveling in the same direction.

After the traffic accident, the “Ford Galaxy” driver fled the scene.
Officers soon found him at home. The man was found to have an alcohol level of 3.02 per mille.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched. The suspect has been detained and placed in the Panevėžys County Chief Police Commissariat’s detention center.
