According to the Kaunas County Chief Police Commissariat, on July 14 at about 11:35 a.m., a report was received that a woman in Kėdainiai might have had a health issue. The reporter indicated that neighbors had not seen her since Friday, raising suspicions that something might have happened to her.

Since the reporter does not live in Kėdainiai and could not visit her herself, she decided to seek help from special services.

Police officers and medics who arrived at the specified location could not enter the apartment, so firefighters were called. Using handheld equipment, they opened the door and let the medics and police officers inside.

A 79-year-old woman was found in the apartment. She was given assistance, and later the medics transported the elderly woman to a medical facility.
