The fire that broke out in the port city on Wednesday afternoon was visible from very far away.
The fire on Liepų Street in the port city suddenly flared up on the afternoon of August 5: the Klaipėda Fire and Rescue Department received the report about it around 2:30 PM.

According to firefighters, a residential trailer on wheels caught fire in a vehicle sales lot.
The fire started next to the “Gintaro baldai” store on Artojo Street; upon arrival, the trailer was already engulfed in open flames.

A column of black smoke rose into the sky from the fire site, visible from various, more distant parts of the city.
The firefighters did not take long and quickly extinguished the fire.
The damage caused by the fire and the cause of the fire will be revealed after the investigation.
