A 35-year-old American played in Lithuania nine years ago, where he became the National Basketball League (NKL) champion with Marijampolė’s “Sūduva-Mantinga”.
The incident occurred during a street basketball tournament held in Harlem.

K. Rochford got into a conflict with another man and was shot in the head. The basketball player was taken to the hospital but did not survive.
Two other people were injured during the incident.
The person who committed the crime has not yet been found.
During his professional career, K. Rochford played in Lithuania, France, Kosovo, Israel, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
