At the 18-year-old’s, killed at Fairfield High School, located about 80 km northwest of San Francisco, 11, 20, and 25-year-olds were injured in the shooting, officials said.

The shooting at Fairfield High School was reported to officials at 7:15 p.m. local time (Thursday 5:15 a.m. Lithuanian time), Fairfield police officer Michelle Belyea said at a press conference.
“There are four victims with gunshot wounds,” said M. Belyea.
A man attending the ceremony told local TV station KCRA that he heard gunshots while taking photos in the school parking lot.

Amanda Prieto, who lives near the school, told this media outlet that when the shots rang out, she saw people “screaming and running through the parking lot.”
M. Belyea indicated that an “active investigation” into the shooting is underway and there is no danger to the community, but did not provide information about the suspect or the injuries of the victims.
