The ministry announced on Friday that it has sent the description of project funding conditions to the relevant institutions for coordination. The third call for municipalities is planned to be announced this year.

“The safety of residents begins with the preparedness of state and municipal institutions and the infrastructure adapted for this. (…) We are increasing funding for one shelter, expanding the list of possible funded works, and changing the principle of fund allocation so that municipalities know in advance the amount of funding they can expect,” said the Minister of the Interior Martynas Katelynas in a statement.
