This ongoing “Vilnius Outlet” event has already become a beautiful and especially popular tradition among visitors, so the first autumn meeting with animals of exceptional elegance and appearance promises to give the warmest emotions to Vilnius residents and guests of the capital.
The upcoming weekend in the capital promises to be warm and sunny. And even more warmth will be given to Vilnius residents and city guests by the International Cat Show, which returns to “Vilnius Outlet” on September 19–20 after a short break.
This traditional, free, educational, and family-friendly event gathers a large number of animals, their owners, and visitors admiring four-legged friends under one roof each time. Therefore, the show, which has already become a business card of “Vilnius Outlet,” has grown over many years into a large, very popular, and immensely loved event for cat lovers.

“This is definitely the most beloved educational entertainment for our visitors at ‘Vilnius Outlet.’ It attracts a huge crowd of animal lovers each time and gathers families looking for pleasant leisure. Therefore, we are happy to continue our tradition this autumn, which offers the opportunity to admire exceptional cats, talk with breeders, and learn more about pet care,” says Edgaras Valickas, Marketing Manager of “Vilnius Outlet.”
Visitors to the show will be able to see more than 100 cats, including very rare and unique animals. The event’s geography is also surprising: it will feature two participants from distant Indonesia, arriving with Ragdoll and Cornish Rex cats.
Visitors will also have the chance to meet the very rarely seen Munchkins and Turkish Angoras in the Baltic countries. It will be possible to see up close three different sphynx breeds: Canadian, St. Petersburg, and Don.
The event organizers promise a very diverse program showcasing the various characteristics of cats. The show’s audience will be greeted by one of the smallest cat breeds in the world – the Singapura cat, as well as the impressively sized Maine Coons and tailless Kurilian Bobtails.

Those fascinated by the character and elegance of these animals are invited to observe the mischievous Somali cats, elegant representatives of the Oriental breed, and aristocratic Cornish Rexes. The show will also feature other unique cat breeds – Thai, Tonkinese, Abyssinian, Bengal, Burmese, Sacred Birman, Scottish Fold, and British Shorthair.

The International Cat Show is organized by the Lithuanian Animal Breeders Center (LGAC). The event is attended by dozens of participants from different countries each time, gathering animal owners and breeders. It is also important that the cats are judged by an international jury at the show.
Although the main focus of the show is on the participants, its educational aspect is no less important. Visitors have the opportunity to communicate directly with breeders, learn about the character traits of different cat breeds, care, breeding subtleties, and responsible pet selection.
While animals reign in the “Vilnius Outlet” event space, stores in the city’s family attraction center will invite visitors to browse new purchases for the autumn season. Those looking for stylish shoes, clothes, accessories, goods for children, homes, or pets will enjoy a wide assortment and significant savings. “Vilnius Outlet” stores welcome their visitors with 30% discounts on their purchases every day.
The International Cat Show will welcome all animal lovers this Saturday and Sunday, September 19–20, at the “Vilnius Outlet” Central Square on the 2nd floor, from 10 am to 6 pm. Visitors are invited to visit Pociūno St. 8, near the Western bypass of the capital, Vilnius.
