On the release day, “GTA VI” will be playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S consoles. A version for older PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems is not planned, according to the portal esportas.lt.
It is also worth noting that the release date for the PC version has not yet been confirmed. Previous series installments also initially appeared on consoles and only later reached personal computers, so a similar scenario is expected this time as well.
Vice City – just one part of a huge world
The “Grand Theft Auto” series is known for detailed cities, realistic characters, and carefully recreated animations. And, of course, “GTA VI” is expected to raise this bar even higher.
Players will return to Vice City inspired by Miami, but the new game world will not be limited to just the city. It will be possible to explore the entire fictional state of Leonidas, modeled after Florida.
Among the confirmed regions are the Leonidas archipelago, Grasrivers, Port Gelhorn, Kalagos Mountain, and Ambrosia. According to the developers, the new “GTA VI” map will be significantly larger than the territories of previous series games.
We remind you that on August 27, a 27-minute extended game overview was shown, recorded on a PlayStation 5 console. It presented story scenes, gameplay, and different locations in Leonidas.
What will the game story be about?
It is already known that the main characters of the new GTA installment, Jason and Lucia, will find themselves in an unfavorable position from the start. After a failed crime, they will enter the center of a dangerous conspiracy and will have to find a way out together.
Lucia was recently released from prison. She sees Jason as an opportunity to escape a difficult past and achieve a better life, which her mother told her about. Their relationship will resemble a modern version of the Bonnie and Clyde story, set in the world of drug dealers, robbers, and criminal Vice City.
Which characters will appear in “GTA VI”?
Besides Jason and Lucia, the game will feature several important supporting characters. Cal Hampton is Jason’s friend and Brian’s accomplice. He prefers to spend time at home listening to coast guard radio channels rather than getting involved in dangerous adventures himself.
Boobie Ike is a Vice City legend who built a business empire from real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio.
Dre’Quan Priest is an ambitious musician aiming to leave performances at Boobie’s club behind. He is developing the “Only Raw Records” label together with Boobie.
Bae-Luxe and Roxy form the rap duo “Real Dimez.” The performers, friends since high school, are signed with “Only Raw Records.”
Raul Bautista is a cunning, charismatic, and experienced bank robber constantly looking for new talents for dangerous jobs.
Brian Heder is an experienced drug smuggler who operated during the golden age of contraband in the Leonidas archipelago.

Who will play Jason and Lucia?
“Rockstar Games” has not yet officially announced the main actors for the characters. Fans speculate that Jason and Lucia might be played by Dylan Rourke and Manni L. Perez, but this information has not been confirmed yet.
The game is developed by “Rockstar North,” and publishing is handled by “Rockstar Games.” The company is owned by the parent company “Take-Two Interactive.”
How much will “GTA VI” cost in Lithuania?
The standard version of “GTA VI” costs 79.99 euros in Lithuania. However, some stores already offer the game for pre-order at a lower price, so it is worth comparing offers from different sellers before purchasing.
The standard version will be available in digital format or physical box. Instead of a traditional game disc, the latter will contain an activation code.
There is also a more expensive “Ultimate” edition planned, which will include exclusive vehicles, weapons, clothing, and other additional content.
The game duration may reach about 80 hours
According to Rob Nelson, head of Rockstar North studio, it may take about 80 hours to complete the campaign and some additional content.
This is not an exact duration applicable to all players. It will depend on the chosen game pace, world exploration, and side activities performed.
Jason and Lucia’s relationship will affect their appearance
“GTA VI” will offer more role-playing game elements. One of the most important is the relationship system between Jason and Lucia.
The bond can be strengthened by exploring the world together, playing billiards or mini-golf, kayaking, and engaging in other everyday activities. Their joint crimes – from store to bank robberies – will also influence this.
The game will also bring back the weight and muscle system known from “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.” Characters will be able to buy food, eat, exercise, gain or lose weight. Their physical condition and appearance will be influenced by diet, activity, and sleep patterns.
Record-breaking revenue is forecasted
Analysts estimate that global pre-orders for “GTA VI” may have already generated about 260 million USD. It is predicted that by the end of the first week of sales, the game’s revenue could reach 4.5 billion USD.
These forecasts are not official “Take-Two” financial results but reflect huge interest in the project.
Expectations are also boosted by the ongoing success of “GTA V.” Released in September 2013, the game still ranks among the best-selling projects of the year. Its sales have reached about 230 million copies, and total revenue has approached 10 billion USD.
