On Tuesday, the Parliament agreed to consider Gitanas Nausėda’s proposal to ratify the agreement signed in Brussels this February regarding the interpretation and application of the already denounced Energy Charter Treaty.

The Energy Charter is not valid in Lithuania since August 8, but according to Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, there remains the possibility to litigate in arbitration courts based on this document for another 20 years.
