R. Kravchenko submitted his resignation last week as the corruption investigation reached his office, but will remain the Prosecutor General until the Ukrainian parliament officially dismisses him. Lawmakers are expected to vote on his dismissal on Tuesday.

“There is only one way for this Prosecutor General: dismissal from office. That is exactly what I told him,” Zelensky wrote on the social network “X” on Monday.
“If he considers this political pressure, he can call it that. I ask the parliamentarians to immediately approve his dismissal,” he added.
