„We are a Lithuanian bank and strive to contribute in every way to the country’s growth and security, encouraging our employees to do the same – to jointly create and protect the country we want to live in.
We believe that this initiative will encourage them to contribute even more to the country’s security and wholeheartedly commit to defending Lithuania, because by doing so they will also feel our support as an employer,“ says Tomas Varenbergas, head of the administration of „Artea“ bank.
The initiative, started by the association „Universal Defense“, has already been joined by „Hostinger“, „Telia“, „Omnisend“ and the entire „Tesonet“ group of companies. „Tesonet Global“ is one of the largest shareholders of „Artea“ bank.

„Employers are joining the initiative every day. We are witnessing the beginning of a new standard in the labor market, which benefits employees, employers, and the state. People maintain their income and financial stability, and organizations build long-term and productive relationships with employees, because by serving, the employee develops leadership skills, learns to show initiative in various situations, and work in a team. These are competencies needed in any organization,” says Tomas Godliauskas, head of the association „Universal Defense“.
„Artea“ bank provides daily banking, investment, and business and consumer financing services throughout Lithuania. About 1200 employees work in the „Artea“ bank group of companies.
