I want to give special thanks to Giedrė Vasilijevaitė-Jackienė – a person who was there at any time of day. For care, understanding, warmth, and help in the most difficult moments. She is truly a gift from God to Jurbarkas and its people.

I also thank everyone very much for the kind, sensitive words, support, and attention shown. Thanks to those who could come to honor, support, and send off my mother on her final journey. And to those who could not be physically present but were with us in prayer, thoughts, and heart.

With all my strength, I tried to make my mother’s farewell beautiful, sensitive, respectful, and just as she truly deserved…” – wrote V. Partikas.

“Simply… I have no words left. My heart is shattered into pieces. The pain is indescribable. It is even hard to comprehend and understand why… You are no longer here.

You were the person I could always lean on in the hardest moments. The person who felt me without words, read everything from my eyes. And now I still cannot believe you are gone… It is even harder to endure being thousands of kilometers away from home.

Mom… why?.. I will miss you insanely all my life. A lump in my throat, my heart is bursting from pain because I realize you are no longer here beside me. I don’t know where to go, where to hide from this pain… But I probably have to stay strong, as you always taught me. You always said I must endure life’s hardships, no matter how painful.

With great sadness and tears in my eyes, I want to announce that I have lost another incredibly dear person – my mother…

I will inform publicly about the farewell.

My heart remains broken… and today I don’t even know if it will ever heal,” – V. Partikas wrote emotionally on social media.
