With summer over, light clothes are replaced by warmer ones, and jackets, shoes, and other autumn season items return to everyday life. The change of seasons is a good time to reorganize the wardrobe and make use of the available space. The good news is that this does not require a large budget. Morta Bučinskienė, head of the IKEA Interior Design department, shares practical tips and solutions under 20 euros that will help make the wardrobe more functional.
Every detail matters in small spaces
A practical addition to the wardrobe can be ALTARLIDEN wire baskets, priced from 4 euros. Baskets of different widths and depths help better utilize the available space. Matching hangers – a small change that transforms the entire wardrobe’s appearance. Solid wood hangers are sturdy and give the wardrobe a unified and aesthetic look. A set of eight BUMERANG hangers costs 5.49 Eur (previous price – 5.99 Eur) and is suitable for heavier clothes. Special skirt or trouser hangers help maintain order and reduce wrinkling of clothes.
“It’s a small change, but matching hangers can bring more order and visual unity to the entire wardrobe,” says the interior designer.
